when i don't live in a dorm room....

Lookie at these great knitted stools from Claire-Anne O'Brian! She's created tons of fun different benches, poofs, stools and chairs and they just look soooo cool.
Also, I like these fun rugs by Angela Adams
And these flower glasses. (I can't remember where I found them.)
In my head, I imagine someday (soon!) when I don't live in a tiiiiny dorm room, I'll have a great little apartment somewhere. There will be color everywhere and cool art, and furniture, and fridge full of yummy treats. But for now, room 241 will do just fine.

compass necklace.

It's very cold here now and it's getting more difficult for me not to just wear jeans and uggs everyday, buuut uggs are so ugly and not fun to wear (however warm). Sweater tights are wayyy more fun.

iloveyouparis.

I think a lot about the couple of days I spent in Paris earlier this year. Being there in the spring time, eating yummy pastries, running around trying to figure out the train system in another language, trying to figure out everything in another language, was AMAZING to say the least. I want to be there again. I'm going to learn French and go back I think. Definitely.

blazer and scarf.

I like blazers.

Tuesday morning lab is kindof the worst.

So I like to wear fun things on Tuesdays to lessen the pain of having to spend 3 hours in a smelly lab. (on a side note: lab isn't even that bad. It's actually really interesting! And as an added bonus Tyler was my lab partner today so that was fun!)

looking at shoes when I should be homeworking away. what's new?

Just some cute wedges on ModCloth. And those oxfords, dang. The word love doesn't even begin to cover how I feel about those oxfords (except for I could do without those rhinestones on the heel). Also my eye has been twitching all day.

for my sister.

I asked my sister about what she likes to see on here and she said she likes outfit posts. So this is what I wore today. And I really like my gold loafers. I wear them preeeetty much everyday.

For Christmas, please!

I'm in LOVE with these cambridge satchels. They look so classic. Someday when I feel like spending $938729834 on a bag, I'll order one.

Just a little side project.

Recently I've had a funny obsession with mustaches. My friend Ruby took note and posted this on my wall the other day, so I decided to give it a try! It was so easy and now I just want to make tons of stamps out of erasers!

Don't drink too much water while wearing a romper.

I got this onesie, and I love it. I belted and put a cardigan over it, because it was a little too print-y by itself. Now I have to exchange this fun outfit for work clothes and go make coffee for the rest of the night. yay!

Holding onto things I don't need.

I've been collecting pictures of these giant clutch bags on my desktop for the past couple of weeks. I love the look of them. Goodwill can expect me around looking for one in the near future.

this guy.

I came across this guy, Marc Johns the other day. He's an artist and I really love all of his drawings. These are a couple of my favorites. Look at his blog, because he's pretty cool.

I tried something new with my hair.

So I love bows. I've seen these hair hair bows around the internet, but after I saw this picture on tumblr I just decided to give it a try myself.
I looked up how to do it on youtube. It's super easy and I will probably be using it as a fun alternative to the ever faithful high bun, that I love so dearly. (on a side note: not sure what's going on with my hands in these pictures. hahaha)

Dear Emma,

Ya look great!
I've never been a Harry Potter fan but have recently become a member of the Emma Watson fan club!
I think she is super adorable/classy/fresh/reallygreatforreal, and will be taking a few style notes from her from now on.

sunday in my gold loafers.

Went to brunch then hopped around town today with great friends. I snatched up a few fun things at goodwill.
I think I need to post about all the treasures I've found at goodwill this summer. They've practically been paying me to take some great stuff of their hands.

that famous bag.

Lookiee!! I thrifted this vintage Dooney bag and I can't wait to use it. It didn't have a shoulder strap when I got it so I bought a strap off of another purse and hooked it inside. ta-daaaa!

leopard print anyone?

I've never been too much into animal prints but recently leopard print has been catching my eye. I don't own anything leopard-y but I do think it's fun. I like the way these guys wore it. on a side note: I asked Michael if he would wear the leopard tie. He said no. Follow my blog with Bloglovin
